Stripy Lightbulb CIC is a community interest company working to improve understanding, care, and outcomes for people living with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.), sometimes also called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (C.F.S.). We focus on reducing harm and inequality experienced by people with M.E./C.F.S. by improving knowledge and practice across services that have a duty of care.

We deliver online training courses, occasional in-person training events, education, and resources for professionals across health, social care, education, employment, and community settings. Our work supports professionals to better recognise M.E./C.F.S., understand the realities of living with a fluctuating, disabling condition, and respond appropriately and safely. All our training is informed by lived experience and current evidence, helping services move beyond outdated assumptions and towards more compassionate, effective support.

A recent achievement we are proud of is the growing uptake of our training by organisations seeking to improve their practice for people with M.E./C.F.S. and related postviral conditions. This reflects increasing recognition of the need for informed, ethical approaches that genuinely improve people’s lives.
