Aspire Ryde is a thriving community organisation based on the Isle of Wight, dedicated to supporting local people of all ages and backgrounds. Operating from various community spaces, we offer a wide range of services including food support, wellbeing activities, youth and creative programmes, a community café, soft play, volunteering opportunities and more. Our mission is to create welcoming spaces where individuals and families can connect, find support, and thrive. Everything we do is shaped by the needs of our community, helping to improve lives and build a stronger, more inclusive Island.

We also run the Living Well and Early Help service, commissioned by the local authority. This won a national award for innovation in health and social care in 2023 due to the embedded community nature of the service and the wide support it offers.

In ten years, we have grown from a small community project to become one of the largest charities on the Isle of Wight. Our heart is for our community. Both serving it and building resilience within it to enable people to grow in confidence and ability. We continue to provide over 8000 free meals a year to those that need them, alongside hundreds of kindness bags, bags of warmth and other support. We work closely with others, such as the foodbank network, footprint trust and social prescribers to ensure a joined-up approach to our support. We see housing provision as the most pressing issue on the Island at present, and as we move into this area we are, once again, seeking to support some of the most disadvantaged people in our community.
