Tell us a bit about yourself:
I’ve spent most of my career working in Health and Social Care across local government, the NHS and the charity sector. That’s given me a really useful overview of how the different parts of the system work, and also an appreciation for the challenges and opportunities that come with bringing them together. Outside of work I’m creative, so often working on craft projects, watching Rugby Union or getting out for a run.
What are you passionate about?
I’m really passionate about making sure we listen to the voices of people with lived experience. Their insight is invaluable in shaping services that truly meet people’s needs. For me, it’s about making sure that those perspectives are not only heard but also used to influence decisions and drive meaningful change.
What excites you about working on HIVCA?
What excites me the most about working with HIVCA is the chance to bring people and organisations together around a shared purpose. There’s so much knowledge, passion and commitment within the VCSE sector, and I want to be able to help connect those dots so that we can strengthen partnerships. For me, it’s about supporting people who are already doing brilliant work, creating space to share ideas, and finding ways we can make an even bigger difference together.
